Reward Redemption Period

All rewards will have a redemption period.  What this means is that you MUST redeem your reward within that set period.  It doesn’t matter when you redeem it for, but must redeemed within the redemption period, or will automatically expire.

For example, I purchase “One Ticket to LOVE” on January 1st, which has a “redeem within 90 days” language.  I don’t have to redeem for dates within that 90 days, I can redeem for ANY date, as long as it’s available for booking.  In my example, I could book my ticket for December 14 if I wanted to, because it’s available.

How many myVEGAS MGM Resorts Rewards can I use?

Everybody starts with a limit of 3 rewards in 30 days.  However, this can change depending on money spent, amount played, etc.  It’s been widely reported and confirmed that spending around $50-60 gets you 4 rewards in 30 days.

To check, simply to go an MGM Resorts reward, click on “Next” or “Sold Out”, and under “Purchase & Usage Limitations”, it’ll show many rewards can be used.

In my case, I can use 4 rewards every 30 days.

How can I raise my Reward limits?

Your reward limits can be raised by spending on the game.  Nothing has been confirmed but it’s been widely reported that $50-60 spend gets you 4/30, $300-500 gets you 5/30, and $800-1000 gets you 6/30.  You can also get unlimited but that’s probably spending $5000+.  Again, these numbers aren’t guaranteed but have been confirmed by hundreds of people.

If I redeem a Reward now, but travel to Vegas in more than 30 days, do my limits refresh?

Regardless of when the reward is redeemed, the date of consumption is when the limits are counted.  For example, if you redeem for a hotel room, and a show ticket today, for a travel date 60 days ahead, that hotel room and show ticket will still count towards your limit, since you are using it in 60 days.  You can’t redeem these 2 rewards, and then use another 3 when you get there.

When do Rewards restock?

Rewards restock daily, but at random times.  Turn on notifications on our Reward Restock post for the best chance at getting the reward you want.

Do all Rewards restock daily?

Most rewards do restock daily, but some, like the “Aria Lunch Buffet for 2 people” are gone almost instantly.  Other’s, like cruises, have additional limits and may not restock daily.

What Rewards do not count towards the limit?

Any non-MGM Resorts Reward will have their own set limits and not count towards the MGM Resorts limit.  If unsure, go to the reward, click on “Next” or “Sold Out” and under “Purchase & Usage Limitations”, if it doesn’t have any language regarding MGM Resorts International, then it’s separate and can be used in addition to the MGM Rewards.

Notice the first one doesn’t have the MGM Resorts language where as the second one specifies a 4 in 30 day limit.

This list changes from time to time as myVEGAS changes partners.  Right now, partners such as Wolfgang Puck, Maverick Helicopter, LV Monorail, etc would not count towards the limit.

Can I combine Hotel Rewards?

Hotel rewards are limited to 1 per 30 days.  For example, you can’t combine a 1 free night reward with a 2 free night reward to get 3 days free.  However, if you’re going with someone, you can combine your free night reward with theirs.

If you need additional nights, please check out our Las Vegas Hotel Deals.

My friends have Rewards I can’t see!

Some rewards are restricted to people who have spent a certain amount of money.  For example, the Aria Two Complimentary Room Nights, can only be seen if you’ve spent about $60-100.

I’m in Las Vegas and I don’t see many of the Rewards!

myVEGAS sets IP restrictions so that when you are actually in Las Vegas, not all the rewards are available to be purchased.  Plan ahead and purchase all rewards before you go on your trip.

Why isn’t my Loyalty Points meter moving?

There is a maximum of 2000 Loyalty Points that you can earn per 24 hours.  However, this can by bypassed on certain mobile games.  myVEGAS Blackjack doesn’t have a limit as long as you’re playing on iOS, or Android(Only if game was downloaded through Amazon app store).

Feel free to ask further myVEGAS questions under the comments section here, and I’ll be happy to answer there or add it to the FAQ.
