Las Vegas Casinos to Re-Open June 4th

Governor Steve Sisolak has officially announced the Las Vegas casinos will be re-opening on June 4, 2020.  Full press release here for those who want to read it.

This is with the introduction of “Phase 2”, which will begin on May 29, 2020.   Almost all facilities will be re-opening, with the exception of Nightclub & Dayclubs, Adult Entertainment Establishments and Brothels.  Shows and other Live Venues will also remain shut down.

Things will not be the same for a while, and expect things like capacity controls, temperature checks and hand sanitizers galore.

With the coming heat, the best news is that Pools will be open!

This phase is expected to last two to three weeks, and then will be re-evaluated afterwards.

Consult this handy chart to see what’s open and closed.  Yellow = Open with Restrictions, Red = Must remain Closed.
